You might be asking yourself, who in their right mind would set out to transform a 1973 Buck, two-horse trailer into a mobile bar cart and tap trailer?

Craig and Erik met while working at the Swedish Issaquah hospital as acute care nurses: Craig an ICU nurse, Erik an emergency room nurse. As their paths continued to cross while working at the hospital, Erik mentioned he had this idea to turn a horse trailer into a mobile tap for beer and he finally got a trailer to do so. Erik had a background in beer tending, tap maintenance and bar management from his time after college while he worked at Ithaca Beer Company in upstate New York.

Hell bent on this crazy idea, Erik would push forward, but there was one issue. He had no idea how to weld. Luckily for Erik, not only was Craig just a generally great guy, he was handy with wood working and already knew how to weld.  What started out as a couple of guys with intense work ethics and unfortunately too much perfectionism, quickly turned into a friendship welded through trial and error, long nights and sweat, and sunburns and laughter.
The plan was to have Fern & Folly make its first debut at Erik's wedding in June. The boys were under a deadline. As they say though, there's nothing like a little pressure to turn dirt into diamond. The wedding debut was a smash hit! Craig and Erik knew they actually had something more than just a fun garage project. Now Fern & Folly is available for weddings, events, and anything you might want a tasty beverage at. Pouring beer and bringing cheer while slinging super tasty craft cocktails; you're sure to… Fern & Foll (y) in love with us at your next event
